McFour Ltd were engaged by our client Annington Properties and their engineering consultants WERM Ltd for the decommissioning and reconstruction of an existing foul pumping station on a restricted site at North Luffenham near to Rutland Water, with the newly constructed pumping station then being handed over to be adopted by the local water and sewerage provider Anglian Water.
Works included the construction of a new 1800mm wet well chamber and associated civil engineering works for the construction of a new compound area. The works involved the close liaison with the local water authority Anglian Water for the handing over of the new pumping station and also for the connection of the existing rising main into the Anglian Water infrastructure whilst minimising disruption to the local residents.
This is one of numerous projects that McFour have successfully constructed and had adopted throughout the UK for our client Annington Properties including for United Utilities, Anglian Water, Severn Tent, Yorkshire Water and Southern Water. Values on these projects have ranged from £180,000 to £1,200,000.
